Personal exploration in Sevilla: the Moonsail North ethos

Hola from Spain!

Moonsail North has always been about cultivating passions. We’re pretty clear on why we set sail on this adventure in the first place: We wanted to fully immerse ourselves in the endeavor of working collaboratively with people and organizations motivated to make a change in this world.

It’s also given us the flexibility to pursue our personal passions — for me, that means spending a few weeks in Andalucia, the birthplace of flamenco, where I’ve been studying guitar at Taller Flamenco in Sevilla. The trip has provided both a learning experience and an injection of creative energy — I’ve been writing about my time here every day, which you can read at my Medium page.

We believe that these kinds of personal explorations are key to being well-rounded people and well-rounded consultants. When we take time to travel to a place we’ve never been to before and stimulate our curiosity, it helps us tap into the universal well of creative energy and innovation that we know also energizes our clients, colleagues and friends.

It also helps us be better listeners — so we can help you on your journey!

“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.”

— T.S. Eliot, Little Gidding
