#TeamMoonsail had a blast with the talented Matthew Mitchell Photo, who captured our new team shots! We're often the ones directing creative shots and campaigns for clients, so it was a great change of pace. And, check out how fast we work inside our new office space! Many paths, one legacy. Every medical student has a unique White Coat Journey, a mosaic of experiences that have inspired them to become a physician, and countless patients and communities to help ahead of them.

#TeamMoonsail was honored to support the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in sharing stories of four first-year #SpartanDO students as they put on their white coats for the very first time — a rite of passage into the medical profession and a momentous milestone in this journey.

We're thrilled to finally reveal our new creative space! We've dreamed of expanding into this space since our start in 2015, and we're excited to expand into a bigger, brighter, riverside office, while keeping our original office across the hallway for quieter maker time.

With easily moveable Vari desks and whiteboards, our entire office is designed to be reconfigured to facilitate meetings, creative brainstorms, and events of all sizes. We celebrated our new creative hub with a socially distanced and masked open house earlier this month, and we are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support we've received. Check out some of our favorite moments from the event, and if you attended, please share your photos and tag us! Whenever you're comfortable, swing by for a tour and then take a stroll on Downtown Lansing's ARTPath along the Lansing Riverwalk, which is right behind our space.

Thank you for all of your support — our story would not be complete without you.

June 2020

Over the past several weeks, #TeamMoonsail has practiced our allyship by holding space for those voices that urgently needed to ring out. We also proudly joined Black Americans and allies in observing Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, as a paid holiday. We're inspired by Black Lives Matter protests, and our blog post shares ways we've been listening and working to write a better story, together.

#TeamMoonsail's daily #WFH reality includes juggling pets and children during video calls, living in our Slack channels, and strategic snack and caffeine breaks to complete client work. Moonsail North was proud to support Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine in launching its first-ever virtual graduation ceremony, which honored the resilient #SpartanDO Class of 2020.

The #OneSparrow campaign we launched this month for Sparrow Health System celebrates our local health care #COVID19heroes while they work on the front lines saving lives.

Moonsail North was proud to support Sparrow's talented digital team with this project. Please join us in thanking our local caregivers, and add the #OneSparrow frame to your profile picture on Facebook before the campaign ends this Thursday!

What do you do when the highlight of your undergraduate career is upended by a global pandemic hitting home? MSU's College of Osteopathic Medicine navigated this reality this month. Because Match Day—an in-person celebration in which fourth-year medical students learn where they will spend the next few years in residency—could not be held as planned, these resilient #SpartanDO students took part in the college's first virtual #MatchDay2020 campaign.

Moonsail North was grateful to work with the talented College of Osteopathic comms crew to launch this social campaign. Congratulations to this Class of 2020 training to join the front lines of health care professionals healing the world—professionals like the physicians, nurses and staff at Sparrow Health System on COVID-19 front lines as we speak.

February 2020

#TeamMoonsail was thrilled to take home six awards from the Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance 2020 ADDY award ceremony! We're honored that our collaborations with Elizabeth Abdnour Law, Blooming Botanicals, The Scott Foundation, and Physicians Health Plan were recognized. Stories can take many forms, and we're glad that our storytelling came through across branding and marketing pieces.

Why is it that when we see a slick smartphone on a plain white backdrop, we immediately think of Apple? It’s because our brains make associations even before our consciousness catches on. Along with logos, slogans, and jingles, we recognize brands through imagery. Here are 5 steps toward thoughtfully creating your brand’s visual language to help you #StartYourStory and build lasting brand equity.

#TeamMoonsail enjoys supporting the end-of-year development efforts of our nonprofit clients, and we were proud to see so many champions for high quality early childhood education in the Silicon Valley area. These funds will go a long way in helping Educare provide even more services in 2019 that extend their high quality early learning beyond the walls of their center through teacher training workshops, new opportunities for family engagement, additions to their creative learning spaces, and more. Congrats to our friends at Educare!

November 2018

#TeamMoonsail works with the amazing Washington, D.C-based U.S. Green Building Council crew week in and week out, and we were stoked to meet up with everyone in Chicago to support Greenbuild, the world’s largest event devoted to the green building industry. With the Windy City’s recent LEED for Cities certification, it was the perfect place to host the event. Scott, Rose and Lauren left Chicago with renewed conviction that, together, we will address climate change and ensure a sustainable future for all. Congratulations to USGBC on another seamless and inspiring event!
