As a mission-aligned firm, we support the many ways people can put their unique stamp on the world to make it a better place, and it's been inspiring to help founder Lissy Torres prepare to launch her passion for using games to help teams learn and improve their soft skills.

Our friends at LAN are celebrating a century of LANdings! 

To mark this momentous milestone, #TeamMoonsail developed a special anniversary logo to honor the legacy of flight and future innovations in flying, as well as designing and coordinating an entire catalogue of commemorative promotional items, from T-shirts and wristbands to coins and baseballs.

Michigan families are facing rising electric bills, and our friends at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) are taking action.

Moonsail North recently supported NRDC, along with their partners Evergreen Action, at a press conference in Detroit, where Attorney General Dana Nessel and other advocates called for immediate reforms that could save the average Michigan household nearly $800 on electricity between 2027 and 2030.

We’re looking forward to working with NRDC on other important initiatives in the coming weeks!

Congrats to our friends at Kidango, who recently beautified their Ravenswood campus, their first child care center in San Mateo County, California, that will serve 300 children ages 0 to 5 once it opens.

As part of a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service event, Kidango staff planted trees to create a greener, healthier space for children to grow.

“When we nurture children with care, dignity, and love, we change the world,” said Scott Moore, CEO of Kidango. “These trees that we plant today, as they take root in the soil, represent all of our commitment to a better world.”

Learn more about the “green gap” — a lower percentage of tree coverage in lower-income areas compared to more affluent neighboring communities — and why centering “tree equity” at a child care center supports a healthier start to life.

We've had a LANtastic time working with our friends at Capital Region International Airport (LAN) on various digital and social media campaigns to support their limited-time flights to Cancun, Los Cabos, and Punta Cana.

Before you take flight, be sure to snap a photo near their main terminal entrance. We were proud to help with this newly installed design — it’s just “plane” perfect for a photo opp before your flight!

The Michigan Lakes and Streams Association (MLSA) is sporting a new visual identity that reflects their commitment to protecting Michigan’s inland waters for future generations!

#TeamMoonsail was thrilled to collaborate with this nonprofit to create a brand they’re proud to show off.

The layered shapes within the logo symbolize MLSA uniting forces to support, protect, and educate on the state’s beloved waterways. The vibrant colors convey the orange shades of a sunset sky over a lake — a symbol of community togetherness and shared appreciation for our beloved state. The lighter blue tone representing rivers and the darker blue tone representing lakes convey a sense of clean freshwater and tranquil waves touching the green land that embraces the waterways.

Developing a brand identity for a coalition is a delicate balancing act that requires authentic listening, blending different points of view, and engaging stakeholders in several modalities. Moonsail North customizes our brand identity development projects to ensure full stakeholder buy-in and a final result that represents the coalition’s collective vision, plus any cultural, linguistic, historical, or regional nuances that might impact the process.

Our friends at Charitable Gift America are working behind the scenes to connect talent with supporting a good cause!

This season, Michigan State Baseball and lefthanded strikeout specialist Joseph Dzierwa are teaming up to support 6-year-old Luca Wright, who is currently battling B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Through Team IMPACT, an organization that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college sports teams, MSU Baseball selected Luca to be their prized recruit for this season!

Nonprofits in particular are facing a lot of uncertainty with unexpected and rapid changes happening at the federal level.

Moonsail North collaborated with many clients immediately to conduct crisis communications landscape scanning and support them with strategy, planning, and talking points to reach key audiences quickly during emergency situations.

As a full-service economic development organization, the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) supports a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem through a series of programs and services.

Congratulations to this prolific nonprofit for being selected as one of only 27 Small Business Support Hubs in Michigan! #TeamMoonsail enjoyed celebrating this momentous designation at an event earlier this month.

LEAP deepened its commitment to promoting a diverse business environment by launching Ascend, a groundbreaking Hispanic and Latino business accelerator program, and preparing to welcome another cohort into its Elevate business accelerator program for Black entrepreneurs.
