We proudly partnered with Charitable Gift America on the first–of–its–kind, #CGASigningDay, where 109 Spartan athletes representing 11 sports committed to giving back 5% of their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) contract value to a charitable organization of their choice. Congratulations to CGA board president Dr. Thomas Dieters and his wife Val for championing charitable giving and making a difference in so many lives. (Special thanks to our friend Matthew Mitchell Photo for capturing the excitement of the day!)

The Michigan Healthcare Workforce Index, a first-of-its-kind report ranking the “health” of healthcare occupations in Michigan over the next 10 years, was released last week by the Michigan Health Council. The report will help assess the outlook of the field address shortages, and build a stronger healthcare workforce. We were pleased to see the report receive coverage across the state, including Crain’s Detroit Business, Bridge Magazine, Michigan Radio, and more. Check out this MLive story to learn more.

This month, our marketing coordinator Nick traveled to Orlando to represent Charitable Gift America at the #NACDA23 convention to talk about name, image, and likeness (NIL) solutions with university administrators. #TeamMoonsail was proud to design trade show materials, including a booth backdrop, brochures, business cards, and promotional giveaway items, while providing on-the-ground communications support throughout the event. It’s an honor to collaborate with the leader in charitable NIL solutions that effectively engage student-athletes!

The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) recently released the spring version of their magazine #SpartanDO Journeys! This edition focuses on the ongoing HIV epidemic and how the college is continually supporting patients and fighting stigma around the disease. #TeamMoonsail was thrilled to assist in the creation and launch of the latest magazine — read the spring edition now!

Time for takeoff! The Capital Region International Airport (LAN) recently celebrated their first flight direct to Orlando International Airport (MCO). Oct. 26 marked the start of a weekly route to the popular Florida destination with up-and-coming air carrier Avelo Airlines. Passengers on the inaugural flight also received a charming beach tote with #FlyLansing sunglasses and more! #TeamMoonsail was thrilled to assist in the planning and execution of this exciting event and LAN branded swag. Avelo has LANded! The Capital Region International Airport recently announced their exciting partnership with Avelo Airlines! With a new air service comes two new sunny destinations. LAN travelers can now enjoy direct flights to Orlando International (MCO) and Fort Myers (RSW) beginning later this year! The affordable, convenient flights will target warm weather markets that serve as popular Michigander vacation destinations. #TeamMoonsail enjoyed assisting with the planning and distribution of this highly anticipated announcement — we look forward to the future of Avelo Airlines at the #FlyLansing airport!

The National Partnership for Dental Therapy (NPDT) recently published their refreshed newsletter! #TeamMoonsail was excited to assist in the creation of "Filling the Gap: Dental Therapy Digest" which aims to provide readers with resources and news to achieve oral health equity nationwide. Read the first edition now!

NPDT also introduced a new social series this month! The campaign spotlights dental therapists who share their stories of promoting actionable impact and the advancement of dental access in their communities.
