As a full-service economic development organization, the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) supports a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem through a series of programs and services.

Congratulations to this prolific nonprofit for being selected as one of only 27 Small Business Support Hubs in Michigan! #TeamMoonsail enjoyed celebrating this momentous designation at an event earlier this month.

LEAP deepened its commitment to promoting a diverse business environment by launching Ascend, a groundbreaking Hispanic and Latino business accelerator program, and preparing to welcome another cohort into its Elevate business accelerator program for Black entrepreneurs.

Earth Day was globally commemorated on April 22. For our friends at the MSU College of Natural Science however, Earth Day is every day as they roll up their sleeves and take on solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time. On Oct. 27, Twitter announced it's shutting down the video-sharing service Vine "in the coming months." Vine allows users to share 6-second video clips. With prominent platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat allowing users to post videos and Stories, Vine failed to protect itself from competitors.
