The Michigan Healthcare Workforce Index, a first-of-its-kind report ranking the “health” of healthcare occupations in Michigan over the next 10 years, was released last week by the Michigan Health Council. The report will help assess the outlook of the field address shortages, and build a stronger healthcare workforce. The Capital Region International Airport (LAN) officially locked in their LANding with American Airlines direct to Washington, D.C. through October 2028! We were thrilled to assist in a social media campaign to gain community support which resulted in letters from 800 mid-Michigan travelers, 23 governmental officials, and 65 business leaders. These letters were sent to the FAA and U.S. Department of Transportation to encourage renewal of this route. American Airlines officially gained federal regulatory approval for a five-year extension of daily nonstop flights from our state’s capital to our nation’s capital, which is a critical route for the community.
Every year, Michigan State University hosts Give Green Day in March, which aims to support various funds benefitting the local community and beyond.
