#TeamMoonsail works with the amazing Washington, D.C-based U.S. Green Building Council crew week in and week out, and we were stoked to meet up with everyone in Chicago to support Greenbuild, the world’s largest event devoted to the green building industry. With the Windy City’s recent LEED for Cities certification, it was the perfect place to host the event. Scott, Rose and Lauren left Chicago with renewed conviction that, together, we will address climate change and ensure a sustainable future for all. Congratulations to USGBC on another seamless and inspiring event!

#TeamMoonsail is so excited to welcome Lauren Tamboer as a full-time member of the team! In her new role as communications specialist, Lauren will use her creativity and talent to continue to support strategic communications, digital marketing, social media execution and reporting, strategic planning, and more. Lauren started her career at Michigan State University, where she studied Communication and minored in Environmental Sustainability Studies. She served as the communications coordinator in the university’s Office of Campus Sustainability, where she sharpened her skills across digital media production, communications campaign design, and editorial writing.

While starting as an intern at Moonsail North, Lauren continued to refine her expertise with a Master’s in Communication, also from MSU. She loves thinking big picture to execute long-term strategy, but also relishes in the use of detailed metrics to inform day-to-day tactics. Her love for all types and temperatures of coffee is unmatched and her blue-eyed mutt, Freyja, is her favorite part of the end of her day.
