The MSU College of Natural Science was recently featured in the 10th-anniversary issue of Diversity in Action magazine for its unique approach to high school science!
In an effort to drive interest and expand participation across STEM fields, MSU researchers designed an engaging curriculum for high school students featuring comic books and hands-on experiments.

Impact stories are some of our favorite ones to tell. #TeamMoonsail recently helped the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) show how its economic development efforts and investment of $113M last year are helping the Tri-County Region to #LEAPforward. Check out LEAP’s 2023 Annual Report, Take the LEAP with Us, to learn more about attracting and expanding businesses, supporting small businesses and diverse entrepreneurs, strengthening the region’s child care network, and more.
In addition to unveiling the report this month, LEAP also launched its inaugural cohort of Ascend, the first-of-its-kind Hispanic/Latino business accelerator in the Lansing area, and its third cohort of Elevate, a Black business accelerator program.

Congratulations to the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Class of 2024 students who matched into residency programs this month on #MatchDay! Learn more about the college's 99.6% match rate.

The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine proudly leads the osteopathic field in novel research and translational treatments.
In the latest edition of the SpartanDO Journeys magazine, meet the experts of AICER — an interdisciplinary research hub bringing researchers together for the greater good — who are working to impact patients' quality of life. Learn about their cutting-edge projects in the areas of immunology, sex differences, allergens, and more.

#TeamMoonsail enjoyed seeing the movers and shakers of #LoveLansing's entrepreneurial ecosystem at the Lansing Regional SmartZone’s recent 15th Anniversary Celebration of the Technology Innovation Center (TIC)! The TIC is a business incubator for technology startups in the Greater Lansing region that has welcomed 120 businesses into the collaborative space since its launch.

The Lansing Regional SmartZone is #LoveLansing's go-to hub for all things innovation and creativity. In this past year alone, they helped spur growth through the creation of 32 new companies, raised $4 million in public and private funds, provided support services to 131 businesses, and unveiled a podcast studio tenants can use. Find more highlights and impact in their 2022 Annual Impact Report.

We proudly partnered with Charitable Gift America on the first–of–its–kind, #CGASigningDay, where 109 Spartan athletes representing 11 sports committed to giving back 5% of their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) contract value to a charitable organization of their choice. Congratulations to CGA board president Dr. Thomas Dieters and his wife Val for championing charitable giving and making a difference in so many lives. (Special thanks to our friend Matthew Mitchell Photo for capturing the excitement of the day!)

Michigan State University's left-handed pitcher Nick Powers is “pitching in” to support athletes with special needs by donating a portion of his name, image, and likeness (NIL) earnings to the Miracle League of Mid-Michigan.
Thanks to his NIL contract powered by Charitable Gift America, the senior pitcher hopes to contribute to the growth of the program, and potentially the addition of a new dugout and bleachers at the barrier-free ballpark located in DeWitt Township. #TeamMoonsail's cheering on this win-win!

The Michigan Healthcare Workforce Index, a first-of-its-kind report ranking the “health” of healthcare occupations in Michigan over the next 10 years, was released last week by the Michigan Health Council. The report will help assess the outlook of the field address shortages, and build a stronger healthcare workforce. We were pleased to see the report receive coverage across the state, including Crain’s Detroit Business, Bridge Magazine, Michigan Radio, and more. Check out this MLive story to learn more.

This month, our marketing coordinator Nick traveled to Orlando to represent Charitable Gift America at the #NACDA23 convention to talk about name, image, and likeness (NIL) solutions with university administrators. #TeamMoonsail was proud to design trade show materials, including a booth backdrop, brochures, business cards, and promotional giveaway items, while providing on-the-ground communications support throughout the event. It’s an honor to collaborate with the leader in charitable NIL solutions that effectively engage student-athletes!

The Capital Region International Airport (LAN) officially locked in their LANding with American Airlines direct to Washington, D.C. through October 2028! We were thrilled to assist in a social media campaign to gain community support which resulted in letters from 800 mid-Michigan travelers, 23 governmental officials, and 65 business leaders. These letters were sent to the FAA and U.S. Department of Transportation to encourage renewal of this route. American Airlines officially gained federal regulatory approval for a five-year extension of daily nonstop flights from our state’s capital to our nation’s capital, which is a critical route for the community.
